After qualifying from college, I began working at Forest Mere Health Farm in Hampshire, progressing into the role of Senior Therapist in charge of a small team. During my last 4 months I was proud to be appointed as a Premier Therapist with the exciting responsibility of looking after VIP guests.

With some essential experience behind me I was offered the opportunity to join the ESPA Pre-Opening team for an exclusive new spa in central London – The Spa at Chancery Court. As part of the Pre-Opening phase I completed the 6-week ESPA training programme which was thoroughly enjoyable and gave me a solid grounding in holistic treatments.

After 2 years at Chancery Court I decided to further my career and moved into an Account Development role with Clarins. I was involved in running promotions and developing business both in-store and within salons and leisure clubs. I was also an original member of the ‘Clarins Angels’; a dedicated team responsible for supporting and developing key accounts.

After 18 months of travelling through South East Asia and Australia, I joined ESPA in January 2007 as Account Development Manager servicing accounts across the South East and East Anglia. I am now responsible for the London region looking after some of ESPA’s most prestigious accounts.

I am responsible for managing all ESPA accounts in the London region; developing existing accounts, sourcing and opening new accounts and maintaining high ESPA standards throughout.

I liaise with Spa and Salon Managers, Hotel General Manager’s and Therapist teams providing training in product knowledge, treatment procedures, spa procedures and five star standards of customer care. 

I support each account in the set-up and running of workshops, promotions and events.

A key part of my role is to monitor each account’s business performance on a regular basis by analysing figures and advising on business development opportunities. 

There are constant challenges and rewards in my current role which help me to develop both within my career and on a personal level.
